Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Finland Q1 2022: Performance Overview

In the first quarter of 2022, Finland's top travel and local apps showed notable performance trends across downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

VR Matkalla saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 4.3K at the end of December and peaking at 5.7K by the end of March. Active users for the app showed consistent engagement, maintaining levels around 30K throughout the quarter.

112 Suomi experienced significant spikes in weekly downloads, particularly in early March when downloads surged to nearly 11K. Active users also saw a substantial increase, reaching close to 20K during the same period.

EasyPark - Parking made easy demonstrated a gradual rise in weekly downloads, growing from approximately 2.7K at the start of the quarter to over 4.2K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around the 26K mark.

HSL - tickets & route planner showed impressive growth in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from about 3.3K to 7.8K over the quarter. Active users for the app also increased, reaching over 86K by the end of March.

Finally, Finnair saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from 2.6K and ending at almost 4.8K. Active users for the app also grew, peaking at around 8.1K by the end of March.
